KB&A The Home Improvement Store was founded out of necessity — a response to a simple, persistent problem: homeowners in the kitchen and bath space deserved better access to designer-quality products, and no one locally was delivering it the right way. That mission is rooted directly in our CEO’s own path through the home improvement industry, which started at the ground level as a regular associate in the lumber department at Lowe’s. Through hands-on work and a relentless drive to learn every corner of the business, he worked his way up from Lumber Associate to Supervisor of the Lumber Department and Millwork — and just one year later, was trusted to take on and turn around the Plumbing and Electrical department, followed by a similar turnaround of the Home Decor and Flooring departments. That track record of fixing what wasn’t working and building what was earned him a promotion to Store Manager at a local home improvement store, where he sharpened his focus on kitchen and bath remodels, hands-on installation, and selling e-commerce merchandise for the home. KBA Home Living is the natural next step in that journey: a store built by someone who has stood behind every counter, managed every department, and seen firsthand what homeowners actually need — now offering that same expertise directly, alongside the designer kitchen and bath products this market was missing.
